From time to time Council requires the support of casual or temporary staff to fill temporary vacancies or to assist with peak workload periods. Council seeks expressions of interest from persons seeking casual or temporary employment in the following areas:

Finance administration
Accounting
Clerical
Secretarial
Customer Service and Reception

Applications are to address work experience, skills, and personal attributes. Persons applying are to advise in their application the hours of work sought and when they are available. Suitable applicants will be registered in a casual pool and contacted when a vacancy occurs. more ..

Vacant Position - Geographical Information System And Assets Officer - Published: 28 Mar 2008
Council seeks an experienced Geographic Information Systems and Assets Officer to provide efficient and effective support to Council’s Geographic Information and asset management systems. The position Grade will depend on the qualifications of the successful applicant. Applicants with TAFE qualifications will commence at Grade 9 ($750.67) of council’s salary structure, applicants with degree qualifications will commence at Grade 16 ($990.62)

IS THIS YOU?

· Possess a Diploma or degree in a GIS related field

· Hold A current Class C drivers licence;

· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, having experience in dealing with people of all levels;

· High level of computer literacy, in particular, Microsoft Office, Windows, and preferably have a

working knowledge in the use of Map Info, Easy Maps, CivilCad and AutoCad.
